RIM announces the launch of its popular OS 7 powered BlackBerry Bold 9900 in white color in India

The thinnest BlackBerry smartphone, Bold 9900 now will be seen sporting a white color. The first in the BlackBerry smartphone line to support built-in support for NFC (Near Field Communications), Blackberry Bold 9900 stormed into the hearts of the Blackberry lovers in India with its perfect union of a high performance keyboard and touch display integration.The pure white BlackBerry Bold 9900 has been crafted with premium materials including a brushed stainless steel frame adding both style and substance to the smartphone.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 holds quite a top spot among business users in India. Equipped with a 2.8-inch VGA capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 640 x 480 and 287ppi, Bold 9900 packs under the hood a
powerful 1.2 GHz processor. The smartphone comes integrated with a 5 mega-pixel camera for great picture quality. It however does not support a secondary camera, which is a major drawback of the smartphone. Onboard you will also find a 8GB memory which can be expanded to 32GB.
Powered by the latest operating system, BlackBerry 7, the Bold 9900 packs in a faster and more fluid web browsing experience. According to the company the "BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphone delivers browsing results that are up to 40% faster than BlackBerry 6 based smartphones and up to 100% faster than BlackBerry 5 based smartphones." The smartphone also brings a slew of additional enhancements constituting of optimized zooming, seamless web navigation and optimized HTML5 performance.
Apart from BlackBerry Bold 9900, Curve 9360 and Torch 9810 will also be seen sporting the white color.
