Huawei confirms high-end, super-powered, smartphone for MWC 2012

Huawei is all set to show off what it claims to be its ‘smartest, fastest and most high performing smartphone yet’ at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next year.

The manufacturer will unveil its top-of-the-line device on February 26, 2012.

With its new phone, Huawei is hoping the join the ranks of big players of the tech world like Motorola, Samsung and Apple.

According to Phandroid, the manufacturer is looking to break out of the ODM mold into the OEM.

Huawei has not released any further details about its new offering but teasers are sure to hit the internet in due course, given that Mobile World Congress is just two months away.

The next few months are sure to see a number of new and exciting developments in the technology market as manufacturers race against one another in a bid to produce the fastest handset.

If the manufacturer is able to succeed in its efforts, 2012 might just be the year that Huawei starts to make a name for itself.

With enormous untapped markets emerging in countries like India and China, Huawei just may be able to carve out a cosy and comfortable niche for itself in the smartphone-tablet markets.
