Android, RIM and Apple are literally giving away applications this Christmas.
Here's our guide to what each manuacturer is giving away and how to get your hands on it
Apple's 12 days of Christmas
Each day something is given away to the users for free. All you've got to do is download the application from the App Store.
The first gift was a Coldplay single on the 26th and the give-away will go on till 6th January 2012. Every app will be available for 24hours and will expire after that then another app will appear on the list for download for a day.
It it is very disappointing, however, that this offer is only valid in the US, UK and Europe. It also requires iOS4.3 and above.
Gameloft is giving all of its games for $0.99 from December 29, 2011 to January 5, 2012. This will include Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, N.O.V.A. 2 HD, Order & Chaos Online, and The Adventures of TinTin and the latest Modern Combat 3:Fallen Nation. The latest release will go on sale for just one day.
RIM's offer isn't quite as good though, if we're honest. It's offering up an application called Snap Me New Year 2012 where you can use amazing frames to make your pictures look great.
Sharing pictures online will directly enter you in a contest where pictures with the most number of likes win a 3-day holiday at Melia resort. It also has on offer Gift Take and Hindi songs to make your new year special. All this is free!
