Motorola has slashed the price of its Motorola Xoom 32GB Wi-Fi to Rs 21,500.
After price reductions by both Sony and BlackBerry, Motorola is seemingly following suit and cutting the cost of its Xoom slate in order to inspire consumers to buy one.
Both the Xoom 32GB Wi-Fi version and 32GB Wi-Fi+ 3G version have seen a price cut of around 10k.
These price cuts were first noticed on online retail store Koovs.com.
Interestingly different online retail stores are selling the device at different prices.
The Motorola Xoom was launched in mid-2011 and quickly gained popularity by becoming the first tablet to be launched with Android, 3.2 (Honeycomb).
Lets take a quick zoom into Xoom's specifications:
The slate boasts of a 10.1-inch screen and WXGA TFT touchscreen display with multi-touch input method. The power resource for the tablet remains a 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor. This tablet comes with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash on the rear-side and a 2-megapixel camera on the front side.
The tablet is a great buy with its amazing specifications and an upcoming Android Ice Cream Sandwich update in tow. And at this price it's quite a bargain too!
