LG's official site has revealed the brand new LG Optimus 2, the latest addition to the LG Optimus series.
LG has confirmed that it will be bringing the Android 4.0 upgrade to its Optimus series first.
PhoneScoop spotted the Android 2.3 powered smartphone on the company website recently.
There has been no official announcement by the company so far but we are bound to hear more about the device at the upcoming CES 2012 later this month.
The device sports a 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen and a 3.2-mega-pixel autofocus camera. It also features a virtual Swype, which allows for faster and easier input using one continuous finger motion.
Packing in a descent 1,500 mAh battery, the smartphone promises to care of all your daily needs - from playing Angry Birds, watching videos, networking with friends and more.
The smartphone will be powered by a 800MHz processor, which automatically puts it within the low-range mobile segment. There is no word on pricing yet, but we are pegging around 15,000 - Rs 20,000 range.
LG Optimus 2 is not a superphone, but it's a phone that is 'smart enough to make your life simpler.'
