UK-based Datawind is hoping to sell 15 million Aakash tablets this year in India.
Priced at Rs. 2499 it comes as little surprise why the demand for the Android tablet have been soaring. According to the latest news, 14 lakh units of the tablet were booked just within 14 days.
Weighing just 350g, the tablet packs in a 256MB of RAM, 2GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB) and a 2100 mAh battery life.

The new version houses a bigger 3200 mAh battery, 700MHz processor and enjoys connectivity through Wi-Fi and GPRS networks.
Capitalizing on the popularity, the Datawind company hopes to sell 15 million units this year.
