CES 2012: Top 10 features of the Lenovo IdeaTab S2 10

Lenovo is sure to give the world’s best selling tablets a run for their money with its smart new tablet, the IdeaTab S2 10, which was recently unveiled at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas.

Thickness and weight: The S2 10 is thin and light with a thickness of just 0.3-inches and a weight of 1.1 pounds.

Screen size: The tablet sports a 10.1-inches screen, perfect for watching videos and surfing the web.

Display: It has a high definition 1280x800 IPS display that promises clear, sharp images.

Keyboard: Lenovo’s creation comes equipped with a keyboard dock that can easily be locked into position and released with the touch of a button.

Processor and OS: The tablet is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM 8960 processor and runs on Android's ICS OS.

Memory: The S2 10 offers 1GB of RAM and comes in three variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Of course, memory can also be expanded with the help of a MicroSD card. 

Cameras: The IdeaTab has two cameras, a rear-facing 8MP shooter and a front facing 1.3MP one, perfect as a webcam.

Connectivity: The tablet offers 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity anywhere, anytime.

Sharing: The S2 10’s support for MicroUSB and MicroHDMI make it possible to share the tablet’s content with other devices without any hassle.

Battery: With the keyboard dock in place, Lenovo claims that the IdeaTab can run uninterrupted for 20 hours straight.

According to Android Central, The S2 10 will retail in China to begin with and will slowly roll out to the rest of the world too. Pricing of the tablet will be unveiled in the coming days as well.
