Samsung is all set to claim the top spot in the mobile world with a number of new and improved devices that it announced at the CES 2012.

One of the most sophisticated devices unveiled by Samsung is the Galaxy Note LTE. The phone-tablet offers LTE connectivity and is compatible with the S pen. In fact, users will get the feel of writing with a pencil and paper on its huge screen.

This 5.3-inches device sports a Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. It has two cameras, including a rear-facing 8MP shooter.

The Note LTE is powered by a 1.5GHz processor and runs on the Android 2.3 OS. Of course, in all likelihood it will be upgraded to ICS in the near future.

Samsung also announced the Galaxy S II SkyRocket HD but didn’t reveal too many details about it. Powered by a 1.5GHz processor, this handset sports a 4.65-inches Super AMOLED HD display.

For those users wishing to go green with an eco-friendly device, Samsung has unveiled the Exhilarate, made from 80 percent recycled material. A mid-range handset, it features a 4-inches Super AMOLED display, an eco-calculator and a eco-calendar. Experts at Phandroid believe that it will most likely be powered by a single core processor.

According to Samsung’s announcement, the Galaxy Note LTE will hit retail stores in the coming weeks and the Galaxy S II Sky Rocket HD, along with the Exhilarate will follow suit in a few months.
