Nokia Lumia 900: Everything you need to know

Nokia just unveiled its latest Windows Phone 7-powered flagship handset, the Nokia Lumia 900, at CES 2012.

Equipped with a whopping 4.3-inch display, the Nokia Lumia 900 surpasses its predecessor by quite a bit. It also features LTE-support as well as a front-facing camera.

In short: the Lumia 900 is a very impressive device.  

Available in cyan and matte black, the Nokia Lumia 900 as our sister site Know Your Cell puts it, 'looks like a Lumia 800 on steroids'.

The device utilises Nokia's exclusive Carl Zeiss optics with large aperture (F2.2) and wide angle focal length (28mm) for taking great shots even in low light conditions.

The front facing camera is no less, boasting a large aperture and a wide angle lens that make for sharper, brighter images and high-quality video calling.

Apart from its stunning design and specification, the Lumia 900 is also a great social networking phone. It comes pre-loaded with People Hub which is the quickest way to connect with friends with Live Tiles for real-time updates.

The Nokai Lumia 900 also caters to the sports aficionados with its exclusive ESPN Sports Hub, while for the game lovers, Nokia brings over 20 of the world's most popular EA games via the Xbox Live hub.

There's also a CNN app to keep you updated with news and reporting across the globe.

Nokia Drive is also included, giving users access to free turn-by-turn navigation. Drive also has a dedicated in-car user interface for use whilst driving.

At CES 2012, Stephen Elop, CEO said: 'With Lumia, we are establishing beachheads in countries and we will push forward with sales, marketing and successive products.'

Catering to the budget conscious Indian consumers, Nokia delivered a great package with the Lumia 710 and we are hoping to see the larger Lumia 900 priced competitively as well.
