CES 2012: BlueStacks brings Android app player to Windows 8

BlueStacks brings BlueStacks Android App Player Windows 8 consumers

BlueStacks has announced a BlueStacks Android app player that will help windows 8 users download and play more than 400,000 Android apps.

The company demoed its App Player at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012. BlueStacks android app player is capable of supporting both the tiled view and the traditional one.

The beta version of the BlueStacks Android app player is expected in February giving way to its release.

BlueStacks CEO Rosen Sharma said, ‘The Metro UI is beautiful, but the number one thing Windows 8 is missing is apps. This changes all that.’

He also confirmed that BluetStacks is already combining with major tablet manufacturers so that Android App Player reaches pre-loaded to the perspective buyer.

BlueStacks has been named as the winner for CES Innovations 2012.

Today it is the only program worldwide that can run native mobile applications that are ARM-based or x86, windowed or fullscreen, on Windows PCs and tablets.
