The Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has leaked online.
Xperia play owners who have been waiting anxiously can now get a taste of what the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update will look and feel like.
A XDA Developer has gotten hold of the leaked Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the Xperia Play. Those who would like to play with the update (and are brave enough) can download it from the XDA developers forum.
Since this is a alpha release, as expected there are few bugs. In this case we find that the camera is not working.
XDA also highlights that, 'even though the ROM is rooted some apps are not getting root access.'
But if that doesn't deter you, dive in to witness the Android 4.0 goodies.
We are sure it is just a matter of time when Sony Ericsson releases the official version. The company plans to bring Google's latest iteration to its entire Xperia range this year.
