At CES 2012 Acer unveiled its Tegra 3 and Android 4.0 powered Iconia Tab A510.

Extending its Tegra 3 ‘Kal-El’ family, the Iconia Tab A510 is the second tablet to emerge from the Acer stable.

Earlier this week, the Taiwanese company showcased its quad-core Iconia Tab A700 tablet also running on Android 4.0.

The Iconia Tab A510 takes on its predecessor, the A500, in shape and form, though it is a little thinner and smaller.

Sporting a 10-inch display, the quad core tablet lets you watch HD video games and playback videos in full HD with ease.

The device also features a unique control button that allows users to bring up controls for volume, apps, shortcuts and bookmark.

We don't have information right now on whether this will be customizable or not, but it can definitely come in handy.

The Acer Iconia Tab A510 is allegedly in its initial phase of development, which means that some of the specs will only be revealed later.

Although it does seem that Acer has got an exciting year of releases ahead of it.
