Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera brings 16-megapixel camera with powerful Android features

The International camera and eyewear brand, Polaroid has launched a SC1630 Smart Camera at CES 2012.
A Android based camera, Polaroid SC1630 smart device boasts of a 16-megapixel camera. The device features a 3.2-inch touchscreen with 3x optical zoom on a 36-108mm lens.
Scott W. Hardy, President, Polaroid said, ‘Polaroid has helped the world bring stories to life through photographs for the past 75 years. The newest member of the Polaroid family, the Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera unites the beauty of high-end digital images with powerful Android connectivity features.'
He further added: 'The result is an instant experience of click, capture and share that enables social networks to see and experience the moment as if they were there.’
After what happened to Kodak, this step was well anticipated from click companies to save their market from the evil smartphone that now offer massive 12-megapixel camera.
Polaroid can be seen as matching up with the times of technology and innovation.
There is no word about its price or release date in the market yet.
