Unreleased Xperia handsets spotted in lineup

A Swedish classifieds website recently uploaded a picture of 15 Sony Ericsson smartphones lined up together in a grid. Among the commonly recognized models lie a few unreleased handsets.

In the uploaded image two red arrows point to a handset that hasn’t been noticed online before and may be part of a new Xperia release.

Since no other details accompany the picture, the specs of the unnamed smartphone remain a mystery. From the photograph it looks like a slim, rectangular phone with a big touchscreen.

Another phone in the set looks new. It has a front facing camera in a body that is quite similar to the Xeria S, just longer. This phone is placed in the middle of the bottom row of the grid.

The LT22i Nypon is also placed in the lineup, in the far right of the middle row of the grid. Other known models in the picture include the Xperia S, Xperia Arc S and the Xperia Pro. Even models that were released in the past like the Xperia X2, Yari and Satio have been placed in the set.

The Xperia Blog come across the picture and found that it even includes handsets like the cancelled SK19i. 

Though the photograph has now been removed, it has started speculations among smartphone enthusiasts about a number of new device releases from the house of Sony.

It will be interesting to see what the company has on offer this year, especially since it is trying to carve out a niche for itself in the smartphone market by building bigger, better devices.
