Samsung gave a sneak peek at its next highly anticipated smartphone, Galaxy S III at CES 2012.
In an official Samsung video at the conference, a sleek smartphone resembling Samsung Galaxy S II appeared, triggering rumors of being the next Galaxy S model.
The video shows the smartphone equipped with a wide screen and a super thin bezel ( will the record for the anorexic smartphone be broken yet again). The video also demos how the device can be used to control a camera using the Remote Viewfinder app according to Unwired View.
We know that the mother of all the mobile events, Mobile World Congress is coming up next month. So like everyone we are also hoping that what we see is the Galaxy SIII.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 turned tables for the Korean giant, bringing the company phenomenal success and big moolahs. The successor to the popular smartphone, Galaxy S III is rumored to sport a 4.5-inch super AMOLED touchscreen and 12-mega pixel camera ( which may be bumped as HTC Titan II enters the market with a 16-megapixel camera).
The superphone will be riding the Android Ice Cream Sandwich and is quite likely to pack in Near Field Communication technology and LTE capabilities.
Check out the video below and watch out for the device at 7:10-11 mark:
