Best Sony Live with Walkman price in India

Sony Ericsson has launched Live with Walkman, its second Android smartphone under the Walkman series in India.

Successor to the popular Walkman W8, Live with Walkman runs on Android Gingerbread operating system and is equipped with a 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touch screen display and a 1 GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor. 

Live with Walkman features a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording capabilities. There is also a front facing VGA camera that comes handy in video calling.

Termed as a blockbuster smartphone, the device is expected to be given a Android 4.0 treatment in the coming months, following the Xperia range. The company has also collaborated with Aircel and Sony Music in providing content and  data freebies to the Live walkman users.

According to Balaji, Managing Director, Sony Ericsson India, 'With content from Sony Music and upto 2GB downloadable data for free, consumers can not only access music content, but also share this with their friends.'

On a recharge of Rs 295, Aircel 3G subscribers will get 500 minutes of free local calling (Aircel to Aircel) and 1000 SMS (local and national) whereas those on 2G will get 600 minutes of free local calling and 1000 SMS as well.
