Kobian unveils Mercury mTab 2 in India for Rs 11,999

Kobian has launched Mercury mTab 2, a budget tablet for Indian consumers.

Successor to the Mercury mTab, Mercury mTab 2 sports a 7-inch screen. The Kobian mTab2 is power packed by 1GHz dual-core processor that will make the device quite speedy and give it a competitive edge. It also includes 512MB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage.

The tablet runs on Android Gingerbread operating software.

The tablet also includes full support of USB 2.0, so you can easily connect mouse or pen drive to the device. Memory can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card. Other features include full HDMI support with Flash 10.2 video player and integrated speakers and mic.

Another important feature that mTab squeezes is a long lived battery that Kobian claims will not dry before 8 hours. This can certainly become a huge selling point for the Mercury mTab2 in the market.

The mTab2 has been priced at Rs. 11,999.
