Canadian manufactuer, Datawind has introduced UbiSlate7+ a spruced up version of Aakash tablet
The UbiSlate7+ brings in Cortex-8 700MHz processor, which is twice that of former Aakash tablet. The new processor will increase speed and improve functionality of the tablet.
There is a also huge jump in the battery from 2100 mAh to 3200 mAh. This will certainly make the tablet users enjoy multitasking without worrying about battery.
The new tablet also packs in a improved Android Gingerbread operating system. The UbiSlate 7+ will also provide access to the Google Android Market on the tablet itself.
All this is provided at a difference of Rs 400 from the already available commercial version of the tablet.
Besides this there are no further changes in display or screen size.
But improvements in processor, operating software and battery are some of the major changes that the new tablet will bring.
The original version has already sold more than million slates and its pre-sales are already booked till February, 2012.
Considering this insane response towards the Datawind tablets we hope the manufacturers have a more streamlined process for the UbiSlate 7+.
