Android introduces voice app Evi which can be used by both iPhone and Android users (beta version).
Developed by True Knowledge, Evi app is free for the Android users but will cost $0.99 for Apple users.
iPhone 4S users outside U.S were unhappy with the Siri as it could not give appropriate answers to the users. But Evi is not like that and will give relieve to all the users around the globe.
According to the creators: ‘Evi includes ontology of tens of thousands of classes into which everything that can be talked about falls. She also knows almost a billion ‘facts’ (machine understandable bits of knowledge) and can infer trillions more when needed.’
It works similar to Siri does, so you just need to tap on microphone button and ask a question and wait for an answer from Evi.
Evi’s capacity of giving contextual answers with links and photos is the result of its broad range for scanning information. She gathers it from sources like Google search, GPS, Yelp, Wolfram Alpha and many more.
However it’s true that Evi is incapable of integrating with calendar and reminder like Siri does for iPhone. But considering Evi’s intelligence now we see her being devloped further.
