Sony's flagship smartphone, Xperia S will come equipped with a UV active anti-stain coating and faster charging capability.
The neat features which remained under wraps till now, were confirmed by Sony Ericsson Product Manager for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Netherlands.
The sleek and sexy smartphone will come equipped with a special UV active nano coating that will act as a dirt and oil repellent. In addition the smartphone will also come with better charging capability.
According to Xperia Blog, the 'charge times will be reduced by half'. In fact a 10-minute charge will be enough to keep your Android smartphone active for about an hour.
Expected to be shipped in the first week of March, the handsome device packs in a dual core 1.5GHz processor, 720p reality display with Mobile Bravia Engine and a 12-megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor. In addition the smartphone includes 1GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
The Android Gingerbread smartphone is expected to get a Android Ice Cream Sandwich update in the early second quarter this year. With the new features and the host of existing goodies, Xperia S, will definitely be one of the hottest devices to have this year.
