The HTC Ville, a quad core Android 4.0-powered handset, has leaked online ahead of its MWC 2012 release.

A video features the much awaited handset running the Android ICS OS and HTC Sense 4.0.

From the leaked video, it is evident that the HTC Ville is everything smartphone enthusiasts were hoping it would be. It is the slimmest handset to date from HTC being only slightly thicker than the uber slim Motorola Droid Razr.

The handset in the leaked video that Android Community got its hands on is said to be a prototype, but given how well it works, it is probably more or less complete.

The video begins with a focus on the phone’s dimensions, specially its slim, sleek design. It then goes on to demonstrate the responsiveness of the touchscreen.

The phone’s display is vibrant, with bright colours and clear patterns. The user in the video then shows off the hardware and software information of the phone, confirming its specs and features.

The Ville has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. It features an 8-megapixel camera that is most likely capable of HD video recording and an additional front facing VGA shooter.

It offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity as well. HTC Sense on the phone is clean and easy to use, and promises a spruced-up performance.

The HTC Ville, with its goods looks and powerful specs is slated to be the biggest feather in HTC’s cap. A MWC release of the smartphone will see it giving Samsung and Apple some tough competition this year.
