Google has hired Apple employee Simon Prakash, who headed Apple's quality control panel

Apple's Senior Director of Product Integrity, Simon Prakash has been hired by Google for an alleged "secret project".
As bizarre as this may sound, Prakash left Apple after working with the company for eight years. The project tagged as "secret" is said to be headed by the co-Founder of Google, Sergey Brin.
The report was broken by Venture Beat, so we're still awaiting official confirmation. What's interesting though is that Prakash was leading Apple's quality control panel. So Simon could be a good catch for Google, though we're having a hard time figuring out what his new position in Google entail.
This switch, however, is contrary to Steve Jobs and Eric Schmidt's 'no poaching agreement'. Guess Prakash must be worth it.
With an array of Google devices lined up for launch (which includes the rumored Google branded tablet), it is likely that the company would want to hire a professional in the field.
It seems like the Department of Justice is having a look at this issue given that the two company heads had agreed upon a no poaching rule in the past. What this means though is that we could see a potential lawsuit from Apple. Speculations have begun as to what the secret project could be.
