From recently leaked details of the Nokia 801, it looks like the phone has a lot to offer, picking up where the N9 left off.
The smartphone is sleek and slim with its button less, uni-body design, resembling that of the Lumia line of handsets.
The 801 apparently runs on a 1.4GHz processor and offers a RAM of 512MB. It sports a 4-inch AMOLED ClearBlack Display and comes equipped with NFC connectivity. It has a 12MP primary camera with features like autofocus, dual-LED flash and 1080p video recording capability.
According to smartphone blogger Eldar Murtazin this is a genuine leak and the 801 should ideally be hitting the retail market in the near future.
The folks over at Smartphonegeeks who came across the leak believe that the 801 might even succeed the Nokia N8, the last of the Symbian smartphones. According to them, though, the screen resolution of Nokia’s latest device is yet unknown, it could be 360x640p, like most Symbain devices.
Further details about the Symbian Belle powered Nokia 801 are hazy, as are facts about its availability and pricing. If the leak is real, the phone should be available in the coming months.
