Nokia is rolling Symbian Belle out on a global scale.

The much awaited Symbian Belle update for existing Symbian Anna devices is finally available across the world.

Users of Nokia phones including N8, C7, E6, X7 and C6-01 can now officially get their hands on the OS.

Nokia Anna devices can move to the Belle update through Nokia Suite. As of now, there is no OTA (over the air) update available and users will need to access Belle with the help of the latest Nokia Suite on a Windows PC.

Nokia is currently enabling the update on the basis of product codes and subsequently, Anna devices are getting upgraded to firmware v111.030.

With the new Nokia Belle, Anna users will get access to a variety of improved features and an easier-to-use interface.

According to AllaboutSymbian, the new OS will make better use of the phone’s RAM and get rid of ‘memory full’ errors for good. Applications will run seamlessly and without lags and multi-tasking will be a breeze.

Belle will offer Anna devices NFC connectivity options including tap and share, tap and pair, tap and play and tap and access.

The display of the phones will also become sleek with the top status bar slimming down. Home screen widgets will come in different sizes and offer a better level of interactivity. Users will be able to access notifications through a new drop down menu as well.
