Details are scarce but we could see either a Symbian or a Windows Phone being announced at MWC

There have been quite a few rumors heard so far about Nokia's plans for MWC. Some stated that Nokia is done with announcements for the time being with the announcement of the Lumia 900 for AT&T at CES.
Contrary to those reports, it is now being said that Nokia is looking for another major announcement for the MWC at the end of the month. This seems plausible since Nokia has a bigger market outside of the United States, and we could well see a global version of the Lumia 900 being announced.
One of Nokia's partners revealed in a statement - "While the partner did not specify whether the upcoming device was a Windows Phone handset, it did say it was a phone that would run an unusual software feature normally found only on high-end smartphones."
The above statement was accessed by Forbes and it claims to be very legit. There's less than three weeks left for the convention and this seems to be the right time for all the speculations. Since a high end device is being mentioned here, we could well see a global flagship from Nokia as mentioned above.
Or instead we could see Nokia come up with the rumored N8 successor which is reported to be the last of its kind. Information is very scarce at the moment as with every "insider source", but we hope to learn more as the days progress. Nokia is believed to hold a press conference at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
