Asus has released another update to resolve the random reboot problem in its Tegra 3 powered Transformer Prime.

The highly anticipated Android 4.0 tablet, had been mired with issue since its launch early this year. The device initially grappled with the poor GPS signal connection and stock shortage. However the latest annoying random reboots issue pushed the users to the edge.

Several Transformer prime users experienced the reboot problem, where the device would randomly restart. Asus's latest roll-out aims to resolve this issue.

In its statement, Asus said: ‘All of you lucky Prime owners should be receiving a FOTA update soon. This is to fix the random reboot issue that some users have been experiencing. Let us know how you get on with it.'

The company has also informed via its Facebook page that the 'the majority of our resellers have now fulfilled their back orders so more free stock should be available soon.'

This is definitely good news with all its fixes in place, the Transformer Prime will be a tough competitor when it arrives in India this month.

Asus has also promised to bring Android 4.0 to its popular tablet, the original Transformer TF101 by the end of this month. There is no specific date on the roll-out as of now.
