The two smartphones will break cover at the MWC later this month

HTC's Ville and Endeavor smartphones are the ones to watch out for at MWC. The HTC Endeavor's quad core CPU and large display (4.7 inch) has been grabbing all the attention from the relatively lesser known Ville which has a 4.3 inch display and a dual core CPU on board.
But it was realized yesterday that the two smartphones will be marketed under the new series/branding known as HTC One. The handsets will be known as HTC OneX (HTC Endeavor) and HTC OneS (HTC Ville). The smartphones will be distinguishable with the superscript on top of the HTC One branding. This is rather strange, but not something we wouldn't expect in the current situation.
It seems like the company wants to start building a new lineup of smartphones under the name with the two being the first. HTC has been struggling to make an impact in the past quarters and smartphones like the Sensation XL didn't really help the company's cause.
It was high time that the company rolled out something which people could look forward to. And no doubt, the HTC OneX is one such handset. All we're waiting for now is the official announcement, which should be the day before MWC kicks off in Barcelona (Feb 27th). We'll be following the event closely so as to get you the latest on these smartphones. Stay tuned.
