
LG keeps world guessing with ‘L’ teaser

LG is running a teaser campaign before what is presumably the launch of a new device

LG has got netizens in a tizzy with the teaser campaign it started on its Facebook page a few days ago.
Emphasizing the letter L, LG's campaign promises a new and improved mobile device expected to launch tomorrow. In fact, the company wants fans to guess what the new gadget is.
LG’s campaign started about 5 days ago with a scene from the Oscar winning film A River Runs Through It, depicting nature in all its glory.
Accompanying the scene was a post from LG claiming to ‘show you what brings timeLess fulfillment to life’. GSMarena is pinning its hopes on a phone with a high-end camera, given that the film depicted won the Academy Award for the best cinematography.
Next, LG put up a clip from a UNESCO documentary on Chinese architecture with the post, ‘you’LL see how attention to detaiL makes aLL the difference’.
The company followed this post with yet another featuring a trailer of the Bicentennial Man with the caption, ‘future wiLL combine extraordinary technoLogy with a genuineLy compassionate heart’.
LG also put up Audrey Hepburn’s interview with UNESCO, saying her ‘sense and styLe transcends fashion and her movies’.
The tech giant then concluded the campaign with various images of the letter L, one of which reads ‘GenuineLy Compassionate’, ‘Esteemed Value’, Prefection with DetaiLs’ and ‘TimeLess FuLfiLLment’.
The phone manufacturer has got the world guessing about its latest offering, but LG loyalists don’t have long to wait to find out what the brand has up its sleeve.
