ZTE has surprised everybody by revealing the names and spec details of its latest Android 4.0 smartphones ahead of Mobile World Congress.

Dubbed the PF200 and N910, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich-powered smartphones will be LTE enabled.

The high-end PF200 smartphone will sport a giant 4.3 inch QHD capacitive touch screen and a powerful 1.2 GHz processor. Strapped to the back of the device will be a 8-megapixel camera and a 1080p front facing camera for video calling and chatting.

The smartphone, as expected, will provide a host of connectivity options including Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, WiFi, A-GPS and digital living network alliance (DLNA) compatibility.

Interestingly this NFC capable smartphone will also house a mobile high-definition link (MHL). Those who are not familiar with MHL, this service can be used by smartphone users to connect home audio and video devices.

The second smartphone in line at MWC 2012 will be the NF910. Powered by 1.5Ghz processor, the NF910 smartphone will come equipped with a WVGA 800x480 pixel display.

At the moment the size of the device remains unknown. The device will sport a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1080p front-facing camera along with DLNA capability.

He Shiyou, Executive Vice President and Head of the Terminal Division of ZTE said in the press release received by Engadget that, 'these LTE devices are the fore-runners of a wide range of LTE devices ZTE will bring to the market in the coming months, and as more and more LTE networks come on stream.'

He further said: 'They will be feature products – among a very wide range of devices on display at the ZTE stand at Mobile World Congress 2012.'

Earlier at CES 2012 in January the Shenzhen-based company unveiled its 7-inch Tegra-3 and Android Ice Cream Sandwich powered tablet. The tablet is expected to reach the market by next month.
