LG spills the beans on it L Series of handsets.
LG teased us with the mention of the letter L and gave us a hint that some new announcements were in tow. And today, the company has finally announced the three new smartphones in the new L series.
There are: the Optimus L3, L5 and L7.
LG has carefully managed to deal with all segments of the market with these three new smartphones ranging from low end to high end respectively.
The L3 is a low end smartphone with a moderate 3.2 inch display (240x320 pixels), 3MP camera on the back with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Other details haven't been made available yet, but don't expect anything spectacular under the hood.
The L5 is a mid range Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone with a 4.0 inch display, which, according to LG has the "enhanced readability" function which we guess is pointing towards a bright NOVA display or a better resolution. Further details about the device are awaited.
The L7 is the daddy of them all with a large 4.3 inch display (resolution not known) and a dual core processor is rumored to be on board. The L7 will be seen running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich like the L5.
LG has failed to give out the full specifications of all the three smartphones, but has managed to excite us just a little. Since the announcement comes before the start of the event, we can only imagine as to what is to come.
It is believed that LG will shed more light about these new devices including the Optimus Vu and Optimus LTE Tag.
