Nokia has recently shared UI concept proposal for the new Symbian^4 platform

Nokia has not yet released Symbian^3, but it is working on the upgraded interface as revealed by the UI concept proposal for Symbian^4. Although Symbian^4 based phones are a distant reality, at least not before the first half of 2011, but it does promise great user experience compared to running Symbian phones interfaces. The new Symbian concept UI comes with a toolbar at the bottom of the screen, free placement of Homescreen widgets, floating dialogs and drop-down menus from the top navigation bar and improved control panel including other upgraded features.
