Videocon has now officially unveiled its Android-powered Videocon Zeus (V7500) smartphone in India

As reported earlier, Videocon has now introduced its first Android-based smartphone Videcon Zeus which is powered by Android 1.6. The device is Android 2.1 Eclair ready; however, Eclair upgrade will be applicable from October 2010 onwards. Videocon Zeus V7500 comes with a 3.2 inch multi-touch capacitive screen with motion G sensor, a 5 megapixel camera with 24 fps video capture and pre-bundled 8GB Micro SD card support.For entertainment, the Zeus Evolve is equally optimized with a 3.5 mm headset jack, loud speakers and music player with multi format support (AMR, AAC, AAC+, EAAC+, MIDI, MP3, WAV). The Java-enabled Videocon Zeus V7500 offers 7 hours of talk time and 17 days of standby time to the users.With its 5 customisable screens, the Videocon Zeus V7500 mobile phone gives access to Gmail, Gtalk, YouTube, Facebook, Google Maps, Document to Go, RSS reader, Notepad, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor and Digital Compass.You can download up to 70,000 apps via Android marketplace through this device. Videocon Zeus V7500 is priced about Rs. 12,000 in the Indian market.
