The biggest mobile application contest this year is all set to test your mobile software development skill and there are prizes aplenty worth your efforts too. The registration for this contest starts from May 17 and the contest runs for six months with two rounds.The official Samsung bada blog post says: In the first round, about three months long, you need to develop applications that run in the simulator environment included in the SDK (Software Development Kit) for the bada platform. After the first round, developers can win 300 Samsung Wave phones.The rest of the period is for the second round, dedicated for running and optimizing applications for the real device. Also, for those who live in China, France, Philippine, Poland, Russia, Singapore, or Vietnam, Samsung will introduce more exciting contests.The prize pool further offers 7 First Place winners with prizes of $100,000 each, 8 winners of Second Place with $60,000 each, $40,000 each for 8 Third Place holders, 10 Special winners to receive $30,000 each and 56 device phase winners to get $8,000 prize money each.All you need to do is to download the SDK and register to the bada Developer Challenge to participate in this contest.
