Expanding its e-book business horizon to the mobile users, Amazon.com has launched free Kindle app for BlackBerry devices

Kindle by Amazon helps you get the best reading experience available on your BlackBerry. The app automatically synchronizes your last page read and annotations between devices with Whispersync. Users can create bookmarks and easily view the annotations on Kindle-compatible mobile device.With Amazon's Kindle app, users can now search and browse more than 400,000 books, including 101 of 112 New York Times Best Sellers. The app further helps find New York Times Best Sellers and new releases along with free book samples."Since the launch of our popular Kindle for iPhone app last year, customers have been asking us to bring a similar experience to the BlackBerry, and we are thrilled to make it available today," said Ian Freed, Amazon's vice president for Kindle work. The supported BlackBerry devices for new Amazon Kindle include the Bold 9000, Bold 9700, Curve 8520, Curve 8900, Storm 9530, Storm 9550 and the Tour 9630.Kindle by Amazon is available as a free download.
