  Apple has finally launched the iPad 2. The news resulted in mixed response from Apple fans in India, specially as the launch came just few months after Apple's iPad made its way to India. The disappointed stems from the fact that as compared to iPad, iPad 2 specs are simply staggering. At 601g, iPad2 packs in a dual camera, dual core A5 processor, PhotoBooth, HDMI support (let's you connect your iPad to the TV), 65,000 apps and much more. Also Apple's iOS 4.3 update is coming on March 11 which means the new iPad will have a boat load of new goodies including an optimised version of Safari with faster loading times, wireless synching with other iOS devices such as the iPhone and improved AirPlay functionality.Apple's focus seems to be on USA and Europe right now with the launch dates estimated to be around March 11 and March 25. And unfortunately among the 26 countries where iPad2 will be launched does not feature India. We can only hope that this time around we don't get iPad2 before the release of iPad3.
