ZTE launches a true solar-powered mobile phone which gets its electricity supply only from solar power and doesn't need the mains electricity

Chinese phone maker ZTE has launched a mobile phone which is a solar-powered mobile phone in true sense as it does not require the mains source for recharging. The phone, named Coral-200-Solar, gets its electricity supply only from sun light. It is an absolutely a basic phone with just one luxury i.e a FM radio. Its the customised version of ZTE's very popular low-cost mobile phone, the Coral 200. Though there are other manufacturers like Samsung who have already showcased their solar powered mobile phones, they have primarily dual-source electricity supply- mains as well as solar. The ZTE phone is intended for those geographic regions where there is very little or no electricty at all.
