Acer, one of the leading vendors in the global PC market, has introduced three new smartphones for Indian mobile market

Acer’s neoTouch, beTouch E200, and beTouch E101 handhelds are the latest entrants into the smartphone arena. Equipped with smart features and functions, all these three latest handhelds use Microsoft's new Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. At the upper segment, the neoTouch is priced at Rs 35,000. It is fully loaded with applications like Internet, multimedia and Microsoft Office. It comes with a large 3.8-inch screen, 5 MP camera with flash and a 1GHzQualcomm Snapdragon processor.If you like to stay connected with your friends through internet, then beTouch E200, a 3G ready handheld, is the right choice for you. It supports talk time of 5 hours and standby time of 400 hours. This smartphone is available at a cost of Rs 17,900. It offers hosts of quality features that include a 3.0 inch touch screen, 3.2 pixel camera and numeric keypad. It also supports video recording. Presently, it is offered in two colors only - black and white.Acer's low-end offering in this series, the beTouch E1O1 is competitively priced at Rs 11,900. This smart handheld comes with a 3.2 inches touch screen and it is packed with the the latest version of Internet Explorer, Windows Marketplace, Live Messenger and range of new mobile applications . Although, the phone comes GPS ready, it doesn't support 3G and Wi-Fi.Briefing reporters, Acer Incorporated Country Head Richard Tan said that they have tied up with Tata Docomo for the new devices which enables the end user to get 500 mb free download for every month for six months.
