LG has announced a new tablet device indicating that now the company has forayed into the 3D-capable gadgets. The latest 3D device to adorn their portfolio is the LG Optimus Pad, an 8.9 inch tablet.The company stated that the LG Optimus Pad is the first tablet device with a 3D camera. The Optimus Pad can capture 3D images or video footage for viewing on 3D TVs or Youtube 3D. However, the device itself isn't capable of 3D output so you won’t be able to view what you capture with the Optimus Pad itself.The key specs of the LG Optimus Pad 3D include 8.9 inch display, Android 3.0 OS, 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and 1080p HD capability on 1280×768 screen.The LG Optimus Pad will start shipping in March but there is no official word on the pricing or availability details.
