Samsung has announced the fifth device in its Metro series with the launch of Samsung Metro 3G (S5350) phone in India

A sleek and stylish handset, Samsung Metro is the first phone in the Metro range devices that is powered with 3G connectivity. The 11.9mm thick device sports a metallic exterior. It offers all the popular social networking channels targeting youths to help them stay in touch with friends and family on the go. Samsung Metro 3G comes preloaded with 9 social networking sites that include Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Picassa, Friendster, Photobucket etc. Metro 3G further offers a chat messenger that is enabled with GTalk, AIM and Palringo chat.Additionally, the device also features an SNS shortcut widget on the homescreen. Through this handy toolbar, users get the easy access of image uploads, messages and quick updates on their virtual as well as real friends.This multimedia-rich device comes equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera with smile shot, 05MB internal memory and a microSD card support up to 16GB. The other key features of this phone include Bluetooth 2.1, Google applications, mobile tracker and 9 regional language support. Samsung Metro 3G (S5350) mobile phone is currently available at a price of Rs. 8,250 in India.
