Sony Ericsson unveils buttonless motion control earphones that automatically detect when they have been inserted or removed from your ears...

Sony Ericsson has launched the world's first 'motion activated headphones' - claiming they will change the way we listen to music forever. The Sony Ericsson MH907 headphones contain a motion sensor that detects when the earbuds have been placed in your ears. To pause music you simply remove one of the earbuds - place it back in and the music restarts. The 'insert and remove' control process also applies when you want to answer and end calls. The headsets also feature Sony Ericsson noise cancelling Clear Audio technology - which is arguably more useful than the gimmicky motion control element (which their marketers have labelled SenseMe). “With the MH907 consumers can pocket their phone but still stay connected all day, every day by simply plugging in or removing their earbuds – there is no need for a remote control or any buttons.” said Sony Ericsson senior vice president Jacob Sten. “At Sony Ericsson we think it is very important to listen to what our customer needs and introducing the world’s first ever motion activated headphones highlights our commitment to offer our customers a complete Communications Entertainment experience." No word yet on an Indian launch date of the MH907 but they are expected to sell for a hefty Rs 2,600. Sony Ericsson has also commissioned a funky video to illustrate the 'complete entertainment experience' offered by the headsets. Watch it below...
