After the successful launch of Cookie Fresh and Cookie Plus, the company has extended its Cookie line-up in India with the launch of a new stylish LG Cookie Zip (LG 510) smartphone in India. The multimedia phone is specifically designed for CDMA users and it offers a 3 inch touchscreen display. LG Cookie Zip comes with a 2 megapixel camera and 2X digital zoom ability, which allows the user to capture videos and pictures with better clarity. The sleek compact handset makes use of the EVDO (Evolution Data Optimized) platform for providing Live TV experience and fast downloading speed to the user. Some other key features of the phone include caller tunes, push to talk, song ID, video streaming, video messaging, FM radio, voice recording, MP3 Player and Bluetooth 2.2 to ensure ultra high speed data communication. Social networking apps such as Orkut, Twitter, MySpace and Facebook are preinstalled in the phone along with other in-built applications like Date Finder, Secret Memo, MP3 Player and Panchang.The handset has 72MB of internal memory that can be expanded to a maximum of 4GB. The LG Cookie Zip has a standby time of more than 150 hours and talktime of about 5 hours. The phone provides a wonderful browsing experience through its intuitive flash UI and it is equipped with 7.6 cm WVGA full touch screen. Available on Reliance, Tata Indicom, Virgin Mobile and MTS networks, the LG Cookie Zip smartphone is priced at about Rs. 8,299 in the Indian market.
