Leaked iPhone 5 image confirms larger display

An image of what is said to be the iPhone 5 has appeared online. The said device looks to have a larger display than the iPhone 4 – but is this the real deal? With the iPhone 5, as well as iPad 2, rumour mill at full tilt, it’s hard to navigate through all the potential leaks and rumours but, every now and then, one pops up that you just can’t ignore. And this is one of those instances. The leaked image shows the front panel of what is reported to be an iPhone 5 device. The image was leaked by iDealsChina. Here’s what it said about its source: “China's 1st iPhone 5 photo has surfaced! From this photo it seems that the screen size will be larger than iPhone 4. There has been a lot of specualtion about a larger screen and maybe this will be one of the upgrades we will see when iPhone 5 is released this summer.” The said image, if true, does confirm two existing rumours. One: that the iPhone 5 will have a 4-inch display. And, two: that the iPhone 5 will have an edge-to-edge display as well. We sincerely hope that these images are true as a larger display is a definite must for the iPhone 5. Lets just hope Apple has been listening.
