While Samsung Wave is still making news and getting rave reviews, Samsung has unveiled another smartphone Halo. The latest Samsung device is a pico projector phone that runs Android 2.1 with a TouchWiz 3.0.Samsung i8520 Halo (aka Beam) product specs include a 3.7 inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen display to support for a DLP pico projector with a customized interface for the low-res but large screen area. Integrated with an 8 megapixel AF w/ Flash (front : VGA) camera, Samsung Halo comes with 2GB internal memory with MicroSD support up to 32 GB. Enabled with HSDPA, EDGE, GPRS, the device offers FM Radio with RDS, 3.5mm ear jack and 3D Sound Effect with dual speaker.Equipped with Divx/Xvid, Samsung i8520 comes with Bluetooth v2.1 and high speed USB 2.0. The device packs some value-added features that include A-GPS, Wi-Fi(b/g/n), Specialized Projector UI, Hybrid Widgets, IM, Email, DLNA, Samsung Kies and push email service. Samsung Halo aka Beam is loaded with 1800 mAh battery with talk time up to 470 mins and standby time up to 530 hrs (on 3G mode).Samsung i8520 Halo is slated for Asia and Europe release in Q3 2010.
