Palm Pre to be launched on 6 June

Palm's much awaited touch-screen phone Palm Pre is set for June 6 release in the US but the company has not revealed any of its India plan as of now

The US based Palm Corporation has said that it would release the Palm Pre handset in the US market on 6th June. The phone was introduced in Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona this Februrary and since then it has been eagerly awaited. Though Palm and its mobile devices are not very prominent in Inida, its other three models, Palm Treo Pro, Palm Treo 800w and Palm Centro are available in India. Whwther the Palm Pre will be available in India or when it will be available here is not known as there has been no official information on this till date. The Palm Pre features 3.1 inch touch screen display, 3 megapixel camera, WebOS, accelerometer, GPS and 3G capability. We'll update you as and when we sniff some info regarding its India release.
