MWC 2010: Motorola unveils Android-powered Quench smartphone

Motorola has launched its eighth Android device dubbed as Motorola Quench at the Mobile World Congress

Motorola Quench comes with MotoBlur feature, a content delivery platform that enables users to get customized content automatically delivered to their home screen. The device will be powered by Android 1.5. Motorola Quench is equipped with touchscreen a 3.1-inch hi-res touchscreen display with pinch and zoom capabilities.On the spec front, Motorola Quench showcases a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, 3G and Wi-Fi access, aGPS and stereo Bluetooth. Integrated with dual microphones and noise cancellation technology, the smartphone device offers voice-activated search option as well."As we continue to expand Motorola's portfolio of Android-powered devices, we remain committed to delivering more of what people want from their handheld devices in easier ways," said co-CEO of Motorola and CEO of Motorola Mobile Devices and Home business, Sanjay Jha. Preloaded with Adobe Flash Lite, Motorola Quench offers seamless browsing experience. The device is designed with a front-facing, centrally-located touch pad that enables users to easy and intuitive flick through the web.Motorola Quench will be available in various regions in Q1 2010. The device will be called Cliq XT, a T-Mobile USA exclusive, and it will hit the US stores by the month of March.
