Fly Mobile has unveiled a new Fly DS 160 mobile phone in India. The dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone comes with a 1800 mAh USB-chargeable battery, which provides standby time of about 30 days and talktime of about 16 hours. Fly DS 160 mobile phone is specifically designed for the office and college going youth in the age group of 18-35 years, who reside in tier-I and tier-II cities. The other key features of the phone include 1.8 inch QQVGA TFT screen with 65K color display, SMS hiding, sound recording, call recording, call blacklisting, call background sound, call reject SMS, Indian calendar, MMS, GPRS, privacy protection and mobile tracker.Fly DS 160 mobile phone sports a VGA camera that offers white balance settings and different effects. It also includes a video recorder supporting AVI format and a video player with 3GP/AVI format. For sharing information such as music, photos, the user gets Bluetooth connectivity.The device has a music player, which offers support for all MP3 formats in addition to a 3.5mm universal audio jack. A 20mm speaker enables loud sound with various functionalities such as FM alarm, FM recording and FM radio. Expandable memory of about 8 GB is provided to the user for storing videos, songs and even phonebook records. The phonebook holds the ability to store about 1000 entries with a photo call identification number. Fly DS 160 mobile phone is expected to be priced at around Rs. 3,000 in the Indian market.
