Spice Mobile has launched a new Android-based Spice Mi-310 smartphone in the Indian market

Spice Mi-310 is the latest smartphone to join the crowded Android bandwagon in India. The new device comes powered with Android 2.2 and sports an 8 cm capacitive HVGA screen with trackpad, 2 megapixel camera and USB tethering with Wi-Fi Hotspot functionality.The other key features of this device include HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, GPS & AGPS, Exchange support, apps on external storage and proximity sensor. The device further packs FM & music player, Push E-mail and unlimited phonebook and SMS entries.Offering loads of apps through Android marketplace, the Spice Mi-310 also packs some India-centric apps such as ibibo, Nimbuzz, Naukri.com, OI Notepad, Spice Gang and Wapedia to the users.Priced at around Rs. 7,500 in the Indian market, the Spice Mi-310 will be competing closely with Huawei Ideos and Micromax Andro A60, the other new mid-end Android phones launched in India recently.You can also check out the earlier released India's first 3G + 2G dual SIM phone Spice QT-95 smartphone.
