AKAI Mobiles has launched a Triple SIM Akai Trio mobile phone, which is the first Triple GSM phone in India

AKAI India, a division of Japanese Consumer Electronics brand, earlier announced the launch of 10 new handsets in India. The company has now unveiled a Triple SIM AKAI Trio mobile phone which is also the first Triple GSM SIM phone in India.Already there are few Triple SIM handsets available in India such as LePhone A10, Olive Wiz and Intex IN 5030, but AKAI Trio is the only phone in India which comes with triple SIM, triple standby (GSM+GSM +GSM) functionality.AKAI Trio comes equipped with a 2 inch TFT screen, 1.3 megapixel camera with digital zoom, dual language support and audio player with equalizer. The other key features of this device include FM Radio, Bluetooth (A2DP), USB, E-book and gaming.Powered with 1100 mAh battery, the handset offers talk time of 5 hours and standby time up to 400 hours. It further features inbuilt sound recorder, video player with video recording, 8GB expandable memory, GPRS, WAP, conference call and torch.AKAI Trio mobile phone is priced at Rs. 3,295 in the Indian market.
