Samsung set to launch Monte at MWC

Samsung Monte (S5620) is officially going to be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC)

Samsung Monte appeared in leaked images published online recently. And now Samsung plans to introduce this device in the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2010. Monte (S5620) is a translation of word ‘mountains’ in Italy, Spain and Portugal. Equipped with a 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen LCD with 16:9 aspect ratio, Monte comes with HSDPA, a 3.5mm jack and MicroSD card slot. Samsung Monte suggest a full touch with Samsung TouchWiz 2.0 Plus UI for this mobile phone. The device boasts of a 3.2 megapixel camera with face recognition and smile shot features.Loaded with SNS and IM services, the device will feature Smart Unlock, Exchange ActiveSync and Google Sync. Samsung S5620 Monte will allow 200MB internal memory. It is further integrated with GPS, WIFi and 3G functionalities.Samsung will officially announce the device at MWC 2010 next week reports SamsungHub.
