Sony Ericsson launches its latest Walkman series phone, the W705, complete with 3G capability in India

The latest handset from Sony Ericsson's stable, the W705, has been launched into the Indian market. The phone is the latest addition to its hugely popular Walkman series. The Sony Ericsson W705 has a 2.4 inch, 320 x 240 TFT display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and 120MB of onboard storage with memory stick micro support which is expandable up to 4GB. As an add-on the W705 supports Walkman 3.0 which features the SensMe and Shake Control functionality. The W705 also supports Wi-Fi and 3G.   Other cool functions include Walkman classics such as TrackID, MusicDj, VideoDj and PhotoDj. It also comes with Sony Ericsson's location software.   Games that come pre-loaded on the W705 are Guitar Hero Tour, NitroStreet, Bowling, Bubble Town and Sudoku. Sony Ericsson's gym-friendly WalkMate application is also available to users.   The phone priced at Rs 17,786 is available in silver and red coloured handsets. It also has a PlayNow arena online mobile content store and an in-built accelerometer supported by the Mobile Sensor API for applications and games.
